Single jet fluid grouting is the simplest form of the trenchless technique of jet grouting. This method of jet grouting relies solely on a high-velocity cementitious grout mixture ejected from the grout monitor to break down, remove and mix the in-situ surrounding soil.
Single fluid jet grouting gets its name due to the use of a single fluid (the grout) to perform this operation.

In single fluid jet grouting, cementitious grout is the fluid responsible for the jet grouting procedure. Other methods include double and triple fluid jet grouting, which involve the use of two or more high-pressure fluids to break down, remove and mix with the surrounding soil. These methods are capable of creating larger diameter columns in higher density soils.
