Joint wraps are an effective solution to preventing water ingress in manhole sections. The structural integrity of the manhole chimney can become compromised over time due to increased traffic loading, deteriorating materials and freeze and thaw cycles. This gives rise to cracks and joint openings in the adjustment rings which can allow water to enter the joints and weaken the structure.
